I'm nearly 14 and I've never worn make-up, you don't have to wear make-up you know. Maybe you could ask your mum or a friend to apply make-up for you and you could learn from them.
Simple is great. Watch the end 15-20 minutes on ';what not to wear';on TLC and see how the gal does it for the vistor/participant. I've learned alot-you can watch them apply it!

When you're applying foundation, don't apply it on CAKEY. That is the biggest mistake girls in my school do...it looks gross and it gives cover up a bad rep. You need a foundation brush and a really nice foundation, like Lancome ... or if you want something less expensive, L'oreal Truematch. Just remember to blend, blend, and blend! And find a colour that perfectly matches up with your jawline and neck, it should appear to melt right into your skin if it is the right colour, and your skin will look flawless and like your have no make up on, but you really do. Which is what you need to strive for when it comes to foundation.





For eyecolours, lip glosses, etc...pick colours that suit your skintone and your personality. Just go for the colours you like and that will suit you!
STEP 1: Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.





STEP 2: Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face.





STEP 3: Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer. Use pressed powder to touch up when you're away from home.





STEP 4: Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.





STEP 5: Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques.





STEP 6: Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.





STEP 7: Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.





STEP 8: Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.





STEP 9: Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits .





STEP 10: Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.

Accept that it is OK to have feelings and opinions that differ from other peoples. Sometimes the truth hurts and seems really harsh, but know that it takes the truth for an open relationship (relationship meaning the way in which two or more concepts, objects or people are connected) to work.


I think it is important to say that sometimes we aren't aware of our true selves. People tend to have an image they portray to others and in doing so they loose their selves.

I'd say that there is a third Maxim needed... ';Know Thyself';. Some people are prone to self dilusion and only after revealing all they can about themselves, particularily their defects of character, to an understanding person, it can be hard to even know when you are being honest.

calculus is the study of change and it's one of the more useful mathematics in our world. we're not going to find perfect shapes such as squares, circles, etc. in nature. everything in our world is not perfect so just using geometry and algebra won't cut it. those maths certainly are useful within calculus, but by themselves they are not that useful in the real world. think about calculating the area of a square or a circle. easy right? now how about a irregular shaped object like a blob. think of something like an amoeba which is a pretty irregular and weird shape. now how do you calculate the area of that? using calculus and something called integrals! although some things in real life may seem perfect like a door or a window, they are going to have very slight bumps and deformations depending on the surface. basically, they are not going to be perfectly smooth. things that are not linear and constantly changing can be analyzed using calculus. think about how to find the slope of a line. but how about finding the slope of a curve? unlike lines, curves have continuously changing slopes so at every single point on the curve, there will probably be a different slope! calculating this complicated sounding slope is called the derivative. calculus is just one of the many different branches of mathematics that helps us to understand the world around us better. studying these infinitesimal changes in our world is what calculus is all about. problems involving these very small changes cannot be solved using algebra alone.Why study Calculus? I forgot a lot of my math from high school, and i really, really don't see myself using it. Some career paths are very centered on math-sciences and business use it a lot. But for me(psychology), I need almost no math (which is wonderful :))

If you are not an engineer or something that uses math daily, then you might not need calculus as much. But it is much quicker to solve some sorts of problems than algebra. Such as rate problems, or my favorite optimization problems.
You can solve all types of rate problems, you can make approximations, etc.


It does have its uses, will you use it every day, probably not. But it's another tool for the mental toolbox.
Anything after geometry is just used to open your mind up to think of other ways to do something. basically teaching you to think outside the box more complex wise...
