After you apply for aid on the FAFSA site, with a school code, and send it, it takes about 24-48 for the school to receive it. When they financially package you, your billing will be set up to come out of a student account. PELL usually goes in after a few weeks, followed by unsubsidized loans, and finally scholarships. You can usually pull out any unused funds sometime after the midterm.How long does it take to receive financial aid for college, once you apply for it?
I received my first disbursement check about 1 week after school started.
